TNEA Counselling 2024: Round 3 Choice Filling Begins Today - Check Key Dates and Details

DoTE is to commence the TNEA round 3 choice filling process today. Candidates who had selected upward movement in the previous allotment round can also check the round 2 provisional allotment on the TNEA login. Check the complete details below.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will start round 3 choices filling under TNEA counseling 2024 today, August 23rd. The TNEA (round 3) choice-filling process will open until August 25th on the official website, tneaonline.org. Candidates participating in this round can check the tentative seat allotment results on August 26th.

In addition to round 3 choice filling, DoTE is releasing the provisional allotment results for round 2 candidates who opted for upward movement. Both the round 2 upward movement allotment and round 3 choice filling can be accessed on the TNEA portal using registered login credentials.

TNEA Round 3 Choice Filling Process

The selection process in the third round is similar to the previous qualification rounds. The following section describes the process of filling the TNEA Option:

Step 1: Visit the TNEA website and log in with the registered email address and password

Step 2: Select your preferences and keeping in mind the limitations and preferences of the DoTE academic course allocate a seat based on location, candidate base, and community.

Step 3: Candidates can add or remove options before the last date. DoTE gives the candidates an option to download their options or send them through email.

Step 4: Option Lock is available after the candidate fills the option according to his/her preferences. To lock options, candidates need to complete an OTP verification and click on the 'Lock My Option Lock' icon

TNEA Round 3 TV Selection Results will be declared on 26th August. Applicants are encouraged to confirm their August placement. 27. Further, the preliminary qualification results for Round 3 will be announced on 28th August.
